Our Story

VaTonatsa Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in memory of the late Cordelia Idah Tonatsa Mayenzanise. It was named Va” – Tonatsa because the vision was brought to life by daughters of the Late Tonatsa ( A Shona name which means to do good) namely Varaidzo Gwenethy Mayenzanise and Rukudzo Annelly Muyengwa. With the strong support from family members. The founders felt that it was a good to establish an organization in the memory of their mother in order to carry forward the good charity work that she did on her family and community to assist underprivileged children and youth.
